Episode 55 — Lawsuits, embezzlement and a strike on the horizon
WATERLOO (CUP) — On the 55th edition of the Canadian University Press Podcast, we begin in Kamloops, British Columbia, where Mike Davies of The Omega at Thompson Rivers University explains the story of a newly-elected student representative who is suing the university, claiming that the administration did not properly accommodate an undisclosed disability.
Next, we head to Alberta to talk to The Gateway's April Hudson, who has covered an embezzlement case at the University of Alberta, where it was discovered a student took $27,000 from a business student association on campus.
Finally, we speak with CUP Quebec Bureau Chief Sarah Deshaies about the mass strike of students in the province slated for March 22 — a mobilization that is set to follow the Nov. 10 protests against the Quebec government's tuition fee hike.

Radio Ryerson searching for a new home
